WATERCOLOURS by MARIE-SOPHIE GERMAIN

Interestingly enough, blue is really not my favourite colour. However, painting watercolours, I discovered how wonderful and versatile blue can be and especially how pleasing it is to the eye. To my surprise, it became one of my absolute favourite colour to work with! That is one of the miracle of watercolours.

Here I used some paints or mixes that contain the famous Ultramarine.

And here, you can see the wonderful – and wrongly named, in my opinion – Aqua Green from Winsor & Newton, and few examples with Cobalt Turquoise (same brand).
